Panthers are delighted to announce that prop Sam Mckendry has extended his contract with the club for a further three years.
The 25 year old made his NRL debut with Penrith in 2008 and was contracted until the end of the 2016 season, but today’s agreement will see him stay on at the foot of the mountains for seasons 2017-2019.
Sam says he is very excited to be staying at Panthers.
“I couldn’t be happier to be staying on with Penrith and to be playing out the next 5 years with the club. We have a really solid team at the moment and Ivan Cleary is an incredible leader, and I see a really bright future here with plenty more to come”
Panthers General Manager Rugby League Phil Moss says Sam is a huge asset for the Panthers.
“We couldn’t be happier to have Sam staying with the club. He has always been one of our most consistent players and we are confident he still has a lot of good football to play. His commitment to the Panthers club is second to none, and we’re looking forward to sharing his career with him”
