Gameday Guide: Panthers v Sharks

The Panthers face Cronulla Sharks in a family-friendly Friday night showdown at BlueBet Stadium.

UPDATE ON 06/05/2021 - Upgraded NRL COVID-19 protocols have forced the previously advertised Jersey Flegg and NSW Cup fixtures to be rescheduled to 11am Saturday and 1pm Saturday respectively. All members and ticket holders for Friday's NRL game will receive free entry to BlueBet Stadium on Saturday.

Please note all gates at BlueBet Stadium will now open at 4.30pm on Friday, with the Panthers v Sharks NRL fixture kicking off at 6pm. Please note the NRL players and staff will be unable to interact with fans before or after the game. The health and safety of members and fans is always a priority for Penrith Panthers and as such the club wishes to encourage all patrons to wear masks at BlueBet Stadium.

In compliance with current government restrictions, the grandstands at BlueBet Stadium will operate at full capacity however the hills will operate at 75 per cent capacity.

Government restrictions will also prevent members and fans from watching the action from standing-only areas around BlueBet Stadium.

Members are permitted to sit in their allocated seats and simply need to present their membership card at the gates to enter BlueBet Stadium.

PARKING AT PANTHERS LEAGUES CLUB

The new underground parking area at the front of Panthers Penrith Leagues Club accommodates 380 cars and complements the free parking already available within the grounds of Panthers Penrith Leagues Club, including the multi-level car park near Aqua Golf.

TRAVELLING TO BLUEBET STADIUM

Fans are encouraged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time.

Drive with your group and use nearby local parking. Allow extra travel time as traffic will be heavier than usual during Friday evening peak, you can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.

When catching public transport, plan ahead at transportnsw.info and allow extra time. Trains run regularly to Penrith on the T1 Western Line which is within walking distance of BlueBet Stadium.

It’s mandatory to wear a face mask when travelling on services in Greater Sydney, Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong areas from 5pm Thursday 6 May until 12.01am Monday 10 May. You can also check real-time capacity indicators when planning your trip or boarding services. Remember you'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device when travelling to and from the event on public transport. Register your details via the Opal website or app ahead of time.

Additional measures and staff will be in place around transport hubs and the stadium to safely manage crowds arriving and leaving the game so please be patient, practise physical distancing while in queues and follow the directions of staff on site.
