Panthers playmaker Jarome Luai is in severe doubt for Origin III after suffering a knee injury in the victory over Parramatta Eels on Friday.
Scans today revealed Luai suffered a medial ligament injury in his left knee during the second half of the clash at BlueBet Stadium.
At this stage the 24-year-old is expected to wear a knee brace for at least the next week.
