Yeo claims 2023 Merv Cartwright Medal

Panthers lock Isaah Yeo has been rewarded for an impressive season by winning the prestigious Merv Cartwright Medal.

The Panthers co-captain was presented the award by Dean Jones, the grandson of Merv Cartwright, at the club's annual awards night held in Penrith on Wednesday night.

Moses Leota received the John Farragher Award for Courage and Determination in recognition of his hard work and dedication this season, while Dylan Edwards was named the MKJ Projects Members Player of the Year for a second-straight year.

Panthers members selected Izack Tago’s Round 20 try against the Dolphins as the OAK Plus Try of the Year, while Jack Cogger claimed the Senior Education Award for his academic achievements in 2022.

Senior Digital Content Producer Henry Ward was announced Club Person of the Year, while forward Liam Henry was named the NSW Cup Player of the Year.

Sam Lane claimed two awards – the Jersey Flegg Player of the Year and Junior Education Award.
