Martin cops fine for dangerous contact

NSW Blues forward Liam Martin has been fined by the NRL Match Review Committee following Origin II on Wednesday night.

Martin was charged with Dangerous Contact for an incident involving Maroons skipper Daly Cherry-Evans in the 66th minute and will also be fined 7 per cent of his match fee should he enter an early guilty plea.

The Panthers player will be eligible for NRL and State of Origin selection.
