Sunia Turvua and Paul Alamoti both scored first half tries before Moses Leota and Daine Laurie crossed the line in the second forty to get the Panthers back into the game.

Cleary slotted a 30-metre penalty goal to take the game into Golden Point before the Iceman nailed a 43-metre field goal to secure the victory.
