Kenny cops high tackle charge

Panthers hooker Mitch Kenny has been cited for a high tackle by the NRL Match Review Committee following Thursday night’s match against Melbourne.

Kenny received a grade two charge for contact on Storm winger Grant Anderson in the 71st minute of the Round 24 clash and faces a one week suspension with the early guilty plea.

The hooker will miss Saturday's match against the Raiders if he accepts the early guilty plea, or can risk a two game ban if he challenges the charge at the judiciary.
