Turuva cops fine for tripping

Panthers winger Sunia Turuva has been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following last night's win against Sydney Roosters.

Turuva was cited for a grade one dangerous contact for tripping Roosters fullback James Tedesco in the 58th minute at BlueBet Stadium.

The winger only faces a monetary penalty and is eligible to play in the Panthers’ preliminary final in a fortnight.

Turuva was the only Panthers player charged by the Match Review Committee in Finals Week One.
