Panthers and Thunder announce exciting partnership

Penrith Panthers and Sydney Thunder are thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership, further strengthening their commitment to engaging with the Western Sydney community.

This collaboration is designed to unite the passionate fanbases of both teams, creating a unique cross-sport fan experience that celebrates sport in Western Sydney.

Both teams are dedicated to supporting and rewarding local sports fans, and this partnership marks a significant step in building lasting relationships in the region. Together, the teams will amplify their efforts to connect with local communities.

Through this partnership, the Thunder and Panthers will offer exclusive ticket deals to each team's members and fans, providing added value to both fanbases.

Thunder will host an exclusive Panthers Member Bay for the match against the Perth Scorchers on January 13 at ENGIE Stadium. Panthers members and fans can take advantage of a special '2-for-1' ticket offer for this exciting event. Details on how to redeem the offer has been communicated via email to our 2025 members.

“We are incredibly excited about this new partnership with the Sydney Thunder,” Panthers Rugby League CEO Matt Cameron said.

“We believe this collaboration will help us make a positive impact in the community and foster lasting connections between both fanbases.

We’re committed to offering exclusive benefits to Panthers members, and special ticket deals for Thunder members and fans.”

Thunder General Manager Trent Copeland said: “Ultimately our goal is to work alongside Panthers to bring affordability, access and opportunity for the people of Western Sydney.

“The Panthers are an incredibly successful club that are doing things really well on the field, but also off the field. We want to tap into that knowledge and help bring that same experience for the Thunder Nation.

“The Panthers have got a lot of keen cricket fans, including Matt their CEO, who's part of high-performance sub-committees here at Cricket NSW, so there’s a great synergy in what we're trying to achieve collectively.”
