OAK, Australia’s favourite flavoured milk, has formally confirmed its decision to not extend its jersey sponsorship of the Penrith Panthers beyond the 2025 NRL season. While this marks the conclusion of a proud and exciting 13-year partnership on field, OAK remains deeply committed to supporting the club, its fans, and the broader Panthers community through its community sponsorship initiatives.

Since 2012, OAK has been a passionate partner of the Panthers, sharing in their remarkable success - including five consecutive grand final appearances and an unprecedented four-peat premiership record. OAK Plus has played a key role in fuelling the team since its launch in 2018.

“Looking ahead to 2026, OAK is focused on an ambitious national growth plan, underpinned by new full-on flavoured products and programs designed to excite and connect with consumers nationally.” said Scott McTaggart, Marketing Manager for Beverages and Milk at Lactalis Australia.

“As part of an increased national focus, the decision has been made to step away from our high-profile jersey sponsorship, to prioritise on building consumer interest and community partnerships both in Penrith, and right across Australia for the OAK brand.”

Panthers Rugby League CEO Matt Cameron added: “OAK has been an integral part of the Panthers family for the past 13 years, and we’re extremely grateful for their unwavering support throughout this incredible journey. From premiership victories to community initiatives, OAK has shared in our success both on and off the field, playing a key role in fuelling our team and strengthening our club.”

OAK will continue to partner with the club, supporting Panthers Community initiatives through the Panthers Foundation, ensuring its impact extends well beyond the playing field.

  • Health Promotion: OAK will once again support Panthers’ Healthy Active Lifestyle program that positively impacts over 1,500 local young people per year. The program focuses on educating students on the benefits of remaining active throughout the day and eating a healthy and balanced diet.
  • Extension of Panthers Foundation Membership: OAK has increased its financial support of Panthers Foundation, extending the brand’s involvement for the next five years. This additional commitment will cover all three pillars of the Panthers Foundation – education, community, and participation.
