Leota cops crusher tackle charge

Panthers prop Moses Leota has been cited by the NRL Judiciary following Friday night's match against the North Queensland Cowboys at CommBank Stadium.

Leota has copped a Grade 1 charge for a crusher tackle on Cowboys player Sam McIntyre in the 76th minute of the Round 5 match, however the prop only faces a monetary penalty.

Leota will be eligible to play in Thursday night's match against the Dolphins at Suncorp Stadium.

No other Panthers players were charged from the match.
